LENScience is a science education and translation programme that is transforming science and health literacy in our schools and their communities.
LENScience provides schools with access to scientific research communities promoting connections between schools and scientists. Based within the Liggins Institute, LENScience connects with students across New Zealand and the Pacific. Our innovative programmes are designed to inspire schools and scientists to maximise student potential and understanding of science and health issues through a wide range of learning opportunities for students, teachers and families.
LENScience is self-sustaining and relies completely on public good research grants, Government contracts and philanthropic donations to enable our programmes and our research.
Our research evidence shows that participating in LENScience programmes changes lives.
