I am a seasoned major gifts fundraiser with a philanthropic background in healthcare, higher education, and medical discovery. Previously, I worked for a handful of other non-profit organizations including The American Heart Association and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. My passion lies in building relationships, elevating the educational opportunities for young and professional academics, and improving the overall health of our communities.
Joining the Faculty in August 2018, I arrived from Houston in search of an opportunity to make significant impact in some of the world’s greatest medical challenges. I feel fortunate to be a part of the University of Auckland and The Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. In a time where philanthropy is truly impacting the trajectory of medicine and science, it is a privilege to contribute to such a critical field which continues to have major impact at a local, national, and global level. From student hardship funds to transformational Chair gifts, it is always a privilege to connect a donor’s interest to an area of major change.
